Splash Tournaments 2021 - August to December
Started by Zeroxo

In an effort to allow more players to join in on the battling scene we have come up with a new Tournament schedule. We have included more fun casual tournaments, added a rental team system, as well as running different competitive tournaments where preparation and skills are key!

The rules and prizes* vary between each tournament, so make sure to read through the details and sign up for all the ones you are wanting to take part in below.

Reminders will be posted here and on discord in the month of each as well.

There’s no telling what you’ll be getting in this exciting variation of our RBT. Battle it out with a team of random Pokémon, selected from our expansive list of textured Pokémon. Showing off with special skins is the true endgame after all.

Date and time:

August 28, 8PM UTC-5

How it Works:

  • Each participant will be given; 4x level 100 textured Pokémon chosen at random from our list of Custom Textured mons, you cannot bring your own.

    • There will be no evolving or re-rolls, what you receive is the Pokémon you will battle with.

  • The move relearner can be used for free to change out the learned set, but only before the battles begin.

  • You are not allowed to put items on your mons or use any TMs.

  • You cannot adjust your team once the Tournament begins.

There will be a winners and losers bracket.

We all like cheering for our favourite team but in this tourney it’s up to you to bring your team to victory! With random teammates we’re excited to see what kind of strategies and teams you can come up with.

Date and time:

September 25, 1PM UTC-5

How it works:

Before the event -

  • At the beginning of September, all signed up players are put into teams of 4* at random.

  • During the month leading up to the tournament, teams are encouraged to discuss their Pokémon choices, battle strategies and help each other put together a balanced array of Pokémon teams.

At the event -

  • Depending on the number of teams, the bracket will be played through with one player from each team at a time.

  • Teams send out their chosen battler** each round to face off another team

  • When a player loses they are knocked out of the game, and the team continues on with one less player.

  • Winners move onto the next round

  • The last team standing wins!

*Team numbers can change depending on participation levels and late sign-ups

**Each player can only battle once per round (number of rounds is dependent on number of players in the tourney)
